Kulfi, Dal tadka, Lenin soup weren't good. Only reason I am stating items which weren't good is because rest of them are really really good. Bhelpuri, samosa, sabji-roti, everything is great.

I live in Iowa. Each time I visit my dear friend here, I MUST eat at this restaurant. For my culinary spirit, the meal is an ecumenical one. It’s the Indian version of manna from Heaven and also a taste of the “bread of angels” as Dante would say. The service is warm and authentic and kind. Mostly, the food is to die for or rather to LIVE for. Make this place a MUST DO stop while in DC. If I lived here, I’d come at least once a week, hungry and with a huge smile on my face. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I’d give them a full constellation. Thank you. Daniel Christian

Not great in terms of food. Had hair in the food, dal tadka was the worst I had in 65 years of my life. Ate 1 spoon and told the owner but he didn’t care. Was charged $15 for 5 bottles of still water from Costco. I would recommend going here unless you have any other options.

Group of 5 went here on a whim. Everything we tried was fantastic! I had the salmon curry and it was delicious. I sampled my friend's lamb biryani and matar paneer and they were simply divine, I plan on coming back when I'm in the area again to get an order of that matar paneer (and my friend wants the salmon curry I had!) Wonderful food, very comfortable restaurant.
